Sr. Vice President Preconstruction - Crescent Communities
Eric Rothrock joined Crescent Communities in 2013. Eric is responsible for all aspects of Preconstruction for Crescent’s Portfolio (Commercial, Multi-Family SFBTR) Nationwide, Including Design standards, national accounts, Design Contracts, GMP Contracts and Budgeting. Eric is also responsible for all master service agreements. As the Senior Vice President of Preconstruction. He has developed and implemented several budget projection processes to help Crescent evaluate anticipated cost models. Eric functions as Senior Vice President of both third party and in-house construction projects. He brings more than 24 years of construction experience and has been an integral part in the preconstruction process of more than 25,000 multifamily units. as well as over 4,200,000 square feet of commercial development. Prior to joining Crescent, Eric was a Vice President with a Concrete subcontractor, ultimately working as Preconstruction Lead for such major General Contractors as Carothers Construction, Rodgers Builders, and Samet Corporation. His experiences expanded to the national level with Carothers Construction, Additionally, Eric served as Project Manager for Hurricane Katrina residential storm relief repairs. Eric has served as General Contractor Council for the North Carolina Subcontractors Association and has served as president of the North Carolina Concrete Finishers Association. Eric was recognized in 2013 as one of the “ENR’s Southeast‘s Top 20 Under 40” by Engineering News-Record Magazine. Eric currently serves on the Board of Built National, High Point University Board of Visitors and The East Carolina Construction Management Advisory Board. He received a bachelor’s degree From East Carolina University. He has four kids, ranging in age from 8 to 20 years, and enjoys working on his golf game and boating in his spare time.
