Michele Herron is a director in CohnReznick’s Denver tax practice with over thirteen years of experience in public accounting. As a member of the firm’s Affordable Housing Real Estate practice, she has worked with for-profit and not-for-profit developers, owners and operators of multi-family residential real estate projects that have been allocated low-income housing tax credits. As a tax director, Michele is responsible for planning, reviewing and oversight of tax engagements, as well as identifying and resolving tax issues. She also provides guidance to affordable housing clients throughout the tax credit process and life cycle. In addition to affordable housing, Michele is experienced in 45L credits, historic tax credits, and working with clients in the commercial real estate industry. Services provided to her clients include tax planning and compliance, consulting, and projections for partnerships, corporations and high net-worth individuals. She also provides guidance to affordable housing clients throughout the tax credit process and life cycle.
