Shawn Poore serves as Regional Vice President of Construction for Mill Creek Residential, a national developer, builder, owner, and operator of multifamily communities. Based in Dallas, Shawn provides leadership and oversight for construction and preconstruction operations across Texas, including Dallas, Austin, and Houston. 

With 30 years of construction experience, Shawn has built his career from the skilled trades through executive leadership. His experience spans multifamily, commercial, federal, education, life sciences, and base-building construction across the Mid-Atlantic, Texas, and Colorado regions. Shawn is passionate about developing high-performing teams, strengthening operational discipline, managing risk, and creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. His leadership approach emphasizes practical experience, collaboration, mentorship, and developing the next generation of construction leaders.

Outside of work, Shawn enjoys golf and combat sports, particularly MMA, Judo, and amateur wrestling. He and his wife have been married for 22 years and are proud parents of two teenage daughters and a goldendoodle.
